Roaring fun to felt an artistic LION. Felter Jen Doney is the Post Master in Ennis MT . 28 years serving the Post Office has lead Jen to balance her bureaucratic work life with art. She paints portraits, knits sweaters, and felts to keep that creative part of her alive. Join her in creating a true work of art. Whether you are inspired by the endearing nature of the Lion in the Wizard of OZ or the spiritual AZLAN, you can sculpture a Lion personality to treasure.

Master weaver Norm Frankland will lend his knowledge and talent to show you how to create your personal woven piece of cloth. In this class you will learn the basics of weaving, warping, how the weft and warp work together, use of color and type of materials.

Create fun and whimsical needle felted dolls in a day! Participants will use a wire armature so your creation will be posable. In the morning we will create the head/face for your character and in the afternoon we'll add the torso/limbs and dress the doll.

No prior experience with needlefelting is needed. Be amazed as your doll reveals her/his personality to you!
